• Account: email, username, password hash (Argon2id).
• Chat: messages you send to AI characters, conversation metadata.
• Memory: AI cross-session memory stored in Hindsight (long-term preferences).
• Usage: subscription tier, message counter, billing events.

2. How we use data

To provide the chat experience, generate content, and improve the service. We do not sell your data.

3. Third-party processors

• OpenAI / Anthropic — LLM providers for chat and content generation.
• Hindsight (self-hosted) — local memory service.
• PostgreSQL / Redis / MinIO — infrastructure providers (self-hosted in this deployment).
• Stripe — payment processing when configured.

4. Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. Chat history and memory are retained unless you delete your account. You can request export or deletion at any time (see your account settings).

5. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

• Access — request a copy of your data.
• Rectification — update inaccurate data via Settings.
• Erasure — delete your account and all associated data.
• Restriction / portability / objection.
